Unboxing our Laser Printer - Glowforge
Our Glowforge FINALLY came. I have been anxiously awaiting this beautiful machine since we purchased it in January.
I have always been a creative person and this year I decided to take that creativity and put it to use. We’ve launched The Joyful Bee Co. and now that we have our new fancy shmancy machine, we can finally start making all of the wonderful products we’ve been thinking up!
Our Glowforge came in two boxes. One box had the main machine and the smaller secondary box had the crumb tray, some installation materials, and the free proof-grade materials that come with the Glowforge such as wood, leather, and acrylic.
The video below is a quick unboxing our our brand new Glowforge Pro!
We decided to go with the Glowforge Pro since we intend on using it for business purposes.
One helpful thing that Glowforge recommends is SAVING THE BOX! If you need to send your machine back for maintenance, it must be packaged and shipped appropriately. If you do not save the box, a replacement box to properly ship your machine back is an additional $250! So save the box!!
We will be working on getting the vent set up (yes, this is a class 4 laser product and requires proper ventilation) over the next couple days and I will be posting more on our blog and social media accounts so stay tuned to follow our Glowforge journey!
